Former Army Chief General Manoj Mukund Naravane emphasized on Friday that Operation Sindoor has marked a significant turning point in India's defense policy. Speaking at the CNBC-TV18 Global Leadership Summit 2025 in Mumbai, he stated that India has made it clear that it will not differentiate between terrorists and those who sponsor terrorism.
He remarked, "In terms of our national policy, Operation Sindoor has proven to be a major turning point. It has demonstrated to the world that we possess not only the political will but also the military capability to carry out any necessary actions or operations."
The former Army Chief also stressed the importance of enhancing capabilities in emerging areas such as drones and unmanned systems.
